  1. What I find interesting is... this clan's founding members... most of them are E's ;-)... ponder that....
  2. I took the full blown test at work. 20 years ago I was an ENFJ. Last year I test ENTJ. Very close scores on the F and T, nothing else changes apparently. It is an awesome test. Will tell you why you choose the people around you and who will not make a good choice of companion for you also. Idealist Portrait of the Teacher (ENFJ)Even more than the other Idealists, Teachers have a natural talent for leading students or trainees toward learning, or as Idealists like to think of it, they are capable of calling forth each learner's potentials. Teachers (around two percent of the population) are able - effortlessly, it seems, and almost endlessly-to dream up fascinating learning activities for their students to engage in. In some Teachers, this ability to fire the imagination can amount to a kind of genius which other types find hard to emulate. But perhaps their greatest strength lies in their belief in their students. Teachers look for the best in their students, and communicate clearly that each one has untold potential, and this confidence can inspire their students to grow and develop more than they ever thought possible. In whatever field they choose, Teachers consider people their highest priority, and they instinctively communicate personal concern and a willingness to become involved. Warmly outgoing, and perhaps the most expressive of all the types, Teachers are remarkably good with language, especially when communicating in speech, face to face. And they do not hesitate to speak out and let their feelings be known. Bubbling with enthusiasm, Teachers will voice their passions with dramatic flourish, and can, with practice, become charismatic public speakers. This verbal ability gives Teachers a good deal of influence in groups, and they are often asked to take a leadership role. Teachers like things settled and organized, and will schedule their work hours and social engagements well ahead of time-and they are absolutely trustworthy in honoring these commitments. Valuing as they do interpersonal cooperation and harmonious relations, Teachers are extraordinarily tolerant of others, are easy to get along with, and are usually popular wherever they are. Teachers are highly sensitive to others, which is to say their intuition tends to be well developed. Certainly their insight into themselves and others is unparalleled. Without a doubt, they know what is going on inside themselves, and they can read other people with uncanny accuracy. Teachers also identify with others quite easily, and will actually find themselves picking up the characteristics, emotions, and beliefs of those around them. Because they slip almost unconsciously into other people's skin in this way, Teachers feel closely connected with those around them, and thus show a sincere interest in the joys and problems of their employees, colleagues, students, clients, and loved ones. Mikhail Gorbachev, Oprah Winfrey, Pope John Paul II, Ralph Nader, John Wooden, and Margaret Mead are examples of Teacher Idealists.
  3. I've been playing... caught Noni on last night:grinner:
  4. Thanks guys!!! Just got back from out of town to see this! My Dad just bought a 1970 corvette convertible. He let me borrow it for my birthday. It needs a lot of work and luckily my Dad likes to tinker with old cars. It's the same body style as the 72 convertible I had in high school. Was a blast from the past. Me and Susanne... on my 43 birthday... vrooom, vrooooooooooom
  5. I don't recall Deadmeat mentioning a political party in his response... somebody point it out to me if he did. I read it twice... no mention of political parties. But he is right on the 'money'. One of the reasons we are in this mess is because people spent borrowed money they didn't have (credit cards anyone?, more mortage than both you and the bank both know you could never pay back), spent it on things they didn't need, then decided they had so much debt they couldn't pay it back. So, the government is going to give out money they don't have to pay back money that should have never been spent. Ummm... I don't see how this will help anything. So, if someone sees the bigger picture, ie... how this will help us out of the mess we got ourselves into, please educate me. I really need to understand it.
  6. My favorite of the competition. Pay attention to the beat... and the horse who beat them...
  7. May be my all time favorite...

  12. It's not who I wanted for President, but now he's going to be my President and I will support him. And now that it's him, I'm glad the entire congress is now going to be ruled by the Democrats. This way, there is no excuse that they can't get everything they promised done. Let's see how long it takes them. No more 'Bush is bad. The Country is getting worse because of Bush'. No more Bush. So, let's see the Dems straighten up the Country like they say they would if they just had control. Nothing is stopping them now.
  13. Halloween Party Saturday night.... Elvira, Mistress of the Dark ;-)
  14. !!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
